All instructors at Shodokan Aikido Sydney have trained directly with Nariyama Shihan in Japan and Australia and have also undertaken the necessary study to obtain a Level 1 Coaching qualification.
As a group we are always keen to meet new students and hope that these students learn the enjoyment that Aikido brings.
If all you learn is to fall over safely then we have taught you the most important lesson of all!

Orazio (Ray) Mazzone
Ray began his Aikido obsession in 1986 and has never stopped. As senior instructor for the past 18 years Ray enjoys seeing his students discover their own strengths outside and within the dojo

Peter Baculak
Peter’s focus is on the practical applications of Aikido, with particular emphasis on randori (free style practice). His passion for, and commitment to the discipline has earned him the title of National Champion 2006.
